I always love coming here! Between the good deals for books and sketchpads AND the added surprise of seeing the cat that will pop up from time to time, it's always a treat coming here while you're at Walnut street!

Nicest people in the world and so down to earth/welcoming. Inside its really cute and the books are very low priced with such a variety, vinyl selection is pretty good too

i love it here! the best bookstore i’ve ever been to. The owners are amazing & there’s so many books to choose from. you can also purchase a plant! btw Ishiguro is the sweetest cat ever.

One of the most wholesome, welcoming, comfortable places I’ve ever been in my life. I happened to stop in while walking past the other day and then I went three days in a row—I just couldn’t stay away! The owners were so kind and they have a bookstore kitten named Ishy who loved to play and cuddle! It’s become my new go-to stop after a bad day. They encourage you to just chill out in the shop and enjoy the space, even if you aren’t buying anything that day. They’re just so kind there, it always turns my day around. I’ve recommended it to nearly everyone I know at this point.

This is what a used book store should be. Full of every kind of book imaginable, reasonable prices, comfy seats, relaxed atmosphere, warm and welcoming owner with deep knowledge of authors. It is truly perfect.

Has such a strong welcoming and small local business atmosphere. Lots of handwritten notes give personal recommendations from the staff and friends. You can also find vinyl records and help yourself to a free cup of tea while you browse. The second floor even has a small letter writing station with stamped envelopes, pen, and paper.

I’m so grateful and happy that I found this bookstore! I love the variety of books and media that they have. A trip here instantly brightened my mood and made me feel inspired. The people here are also lovely, welcoming, and kind. I’m saving this place to visit again and again.

Hands down my favorite book store and I’ve been to ALOT of them in this county. First, I love the ample parking (paid but it’s available so I will take it because it’s the city after all). Second, AMAZING selection. If I could carefully curate my own collection for a bookstore it would be just like this. I love the classics and they carry so many options and harder to find books. Third, the people working are super kind, friendly and laid back. Lastly, everything is so well labeled. Prices are not a mystery and they’re very reasonable. They carry new and used which gives the opportunity for buying a book you might really want at a lower price point or one you’d like to keep as a collectible on a more “fancy” version. Inclusive! I will be back every chance I get.

Lovely store. Books of all types ranging from philosophy to religion to fiction. The owner is wonderful and kind. Their space feels homemade and you learn about their taste and worldview as you wander through store. Many gems inside. New records/vinyls from international artists, blues, soul, and r&b. Their lovely shop cat, Ishe, is a kind and welcoming soul as well.
